Real Estate

Coastline College’s Real Estate program provides comprehensive education and career preparation for students seeking employment, professional advancement, or licensure within California’s real estate industry.

The curriculum is designed to support multiple career pathways, including real estate sales, brokerage, property management, lending, and mortgage brokering. Students pursuing the Real Estate Property Salesperson certificate complete coursework aligned with the educational requirements for the California real estate salesperson license examination, while the Real Estate Broker pathway provides the advanced coursework needed to help qualified students meet the state’s broker examination requirements and prepare for responsibilities such as supervising and employing real estate sales professionals. The Real Estate Lending and Mortgage Brokering certificate develops knowledge of real estate finance, lending practices, mortgage transactions, regulatory requirements, and ethical business practices. The Real Estate Studies certificate offers a broad foundation in real estate principles, practices, law, finance, appraisal, property management, and market analysis. Across all pathways, students gain the practical knowledge, professional skills, and regulatory awareness needed to pursue their career goals and adapt to a rapidly changing real estate environment.
