Department Chair Tobi West, CISSP, GCFE, CCFE, is a professor of the Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Computer Services Technology (CST) department, which has been recognized as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE) by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security.
The CST & CIS Department was designated a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security in 2014. Our courses align with the knowledge units of the NICE Workforce Framework, providing students with the skills needed to work in today's cybersecurity and computer networking roles.

CyberWatch Center's Innovations in Cybersecurity Education awarded the Honorable Mention to Coastline's "CyberTech Girls: Developing Interest in Cybersecurity Education and Career Pathways" in Program Development. CyberTech Girls is a one-day cybersecurity pathway event for middle school and high school girls.
