Graduate from Coastline College. Transfer to a 4-year.
You are completing your AA or AS degree at Coastline College, an online learning institution. You chose online learning because of personal learning preference or out of necessity due to work or family obligations. Need to or want to continue online learning toward a BA or BS degree? It's important to know now, as you are completing your Coastline degree, which universities offer your major fully online. Don't see your major listed? Meet with a counselor to find out how your Coastline degree can prepare you to meet requirements of majors listed.
CSU Fully Online Degree/Program has added more online majors and concentrations! With your ADT Degree (AA-T or AST), you are preparing to transfer to a California State University campus. A quick view of majors offered at CSU fully online.
Check to see if your major is listed:
Go to CSU Online to see which campuses are offering fully online BA/BS majors and how to access more information, including contacting the CSU online departments.
All transfers applying to a CSU Online program complete the CSU Apply application. On the application you will select 'Online' and the major. This selection will also confirm that the major is offered online and CSU campus.
At most CSU campuses application deadlines are extended beyond the November 30 deadline for fall admission or August 31 deadline for spring admission; i.e., most CSU campuses have a May or June application deadline for fall admission. Check the CSU Apply website to verify online application deadlines per CSU campus.
Applicants will not be eligible for $70 application fee waivers because Online CSU is a self-supporting operation through University Extension.
Online CSU has slightly higher tuition rates per unit compared to on-campus courses. The fees and refund structures are different through Extension than on-campus. Check the majors and campuses for their online tuition per unit. Students enrolled in online courses will have access to financial aid with the exception that the CSU State University Grant (SUG) is not available that pays tuition for low-income students. All transfer students are encouraged to apply for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
By far California independent/private and out-of-state universities offer the greatest number of online BA and BS degrees. Here is a partial list of Private/Independent and out-of-state universities Coastline students have transferred:
