Transfer for Undocumented & DACA Students

For many undocumented and DACA students, Coastline College is the first step in their educational journey. This workshop is committed to support the transition from Coastline to the four-year university and will provide resources to help prepare, plan, and achieve transfer goals: the transfer process to a four-year university as an undocumented and/or AB540- student to the UCs, CSUs, and Private CA universities. Learn how transfer support services continue from Coastline to California universities.

Will Your Financial Aid Transfer with You?

As students prepare for transfer - completing all course and major requirements, meeting application deadlines - often not thought of is financial aid. The Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application opens on October 1. Will the financial aid package at Coastline be matched at a CSU, UC, or private CA school? Come to this workshop for answers and know more on financial aid prep to align with transfer prep. Also covered in this workshop: financial aid available at the CSU, UC and private CA institutions, the Dream Act and State Aid available for undocumented/AB540 students, scholarship and paid work study/internships, where to find tuition rates, and ways to lower the cost of a university education.

CSU Application Help for Fall 2024 Admission

Ready. Set. Apply! Completing 60 units by this December 2023 or by May 2024? Want to be enrolled at a CSU in Fall 2024? Get ready to receive help and guidance on the CSU application, what documents are needed, application tips, news from local CSU campuses, contact info on CSU representatives, and submit! Drop-in during any of the workshop sessions.

UC Application Help for Fall 2024 Admission

Are you UC-bound and graduating with 60+units by May 2024? We will prepare and guide you through the comprehensive UC application, what materials to have, receive guidance on Personal Insight Questions + access to the Writing Center, updates from UC campuses and majors, and connect with UC representatives.

Cybersecurity College Transfer Workshop

This Zoom transfer workshop is designed for Computer Technology students hoping to apply to a 4-year school. Technology majors will learn transfer preparation tips to the California State University (CSU), University of California (UC), and Private CA schools. Find out what financial aid/scholarships are available, courses needed to have a competitive CSU application, and how the technology degree aligns with careers. Get useful transfer resource tools. CSU Application for Fall 2024 Admission (EOPS)

Are you applying for Fall 2024 CSU admission? Join EOPS and Transfer Services in this virtual CSU application workshop, where you learn about admissions requirements to the California State University, important updates from our local CSU campuses, and documents needed to complete the application successfully. By attending this workshop, you will confidently take the next major steps to transfer and achieve your higher education goals.

This workshop is committed to supporting the transition from Coastline to your future University. Come learn about different resources that will help you prepare, plan, and achieve transfer goals. Learn the transfer process as a student with undocumented/mixed legal status, AB540 or DACA to your future UCs, CSUs, or Private CA university. Learn how support services continue from Coastline to California universities.

UC Application for Fall 2024 (EOPS)

Are you applying for Fall 2024 UC admission? Join EOPS and Transfer Services in this virtual UC application step-by-step workshop. You will be guided through each section and learn tips on how to complete co-curricular activities, a guide on completing Personal Insight Questions plus access to the Writing Center, and documents needed to complete the UC application successfully. Catch updates from local UC campuses and UC majors.

*Fall 2023 Virtual Transfer Fair*

Get transfer ready by meeting and networking with over 40 university representatives from the University of California, California State University, CA Private Universities, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and Out-of-State Schools. Have the transfer fair come to you virtually through Zoom and share your major/career goals. Learn which school offers scholarships, paid internships, family housing, and graduate programs.
