April 2024 Exhibition

Me and 23 is an exhibition that has its foundation in the popular genetic testing site 23 and me. It's a play on words as a relates to the creative community that surrounds Coastline College Art Gallery and how it's made up of all different types of artists and styles. This is the DNA of our community.

Each artist in this showcase was tasked with creating a piece of art on a standardized plywood substrate, sized at 13.5 x 11.5 inches, allowing for a level playing field in expression. With no strict guidelines beyond submitting their work, artists had the freedom to interpret and contribute to the collective narrative.
