What is a personal achievement you’re most proud of?
A personal achievement I am most proud of is how I have overcome my fear of failure in the last year by engaging in leadership opportunities. As someone who has had an educational journey filled with many twists and turns, I am familiar with imposter syndrome. However, I have found a new strength and passion for leadership through my last term as ASG Secretary and recent career promotions to upper management, which have alleviated my previous insecurities and fears. I am most proud of myself for putting myself out there, facing adversity head-on, and achieving my goal of being a decisive and encouraging leader by finding my confidence. I have found that failure is something to learn from, not fear.
What do you like to do in your free time?
If you catch me on a weekend, I would likely be reading a horror novel, cuddled up with my two hairless cats, Olive and Ivy. If I am not reading or at the beach, I love unlocking my creative side through watercolor painting, junk journaling, and most of all: puppetry!
Why did you choose your desired role in ASG?
I selected the role of Chair because I have strong skills in group mediation, problem-solving, and advocacy. The President's position is crucial to maintaining an orderly and respectful environment within ASG and ensuring that all students feel supported. As a Psychology major with a passion for equity and organization, I am confident that I could unbiasedly guide the group and foster strong collaboration amongst officers and students.
Having previously held a position in ASG, I also have a strong understanding of parliamentary procedure, Robert's Rules, and the ASG By-laws, making me well-prepared to chair ASG meetings.
If elected, what do you hope to accomplish for the student body?
If elected, more than anything else, I hope my accomplishments in ASG will help foster a sense of connection and belonging among the student body. Given that our college is mainly online, I am aware of Coastline's unique challenges. Specifically, regarding a sense of community and belonging amongst students. I would like to promote more in-person and Zoom events and community-driven opportunities. I want to connect directly with the students to determine their interests, availability, and needs, ensuring that ASG is actively meeting their expectations for providing a meaningful sense of student life on and off campus. I also want to continue promoting resources to communities within Coastline that would benefit from specialized attention, specifically the Hope Pride Scholars (as they are a large portion of Coastline's population) and the Dolphin Pride Scholars (as their program is in the beginning stages). Overall, I want to support any opportunities to improve students' well-being and access to important resources.
Is there anything else you want Coastline's student body to know about you?
Being a Psychology major, my central interest is creating an environment where students can feel empowered and heard. I am dedicated to promoting your well-being as a student and a person above all else.

What is a personal achievement you’re most proud of?
A personal achievement I am most proud of is being selected for the APAHE (Asian Pacific Americans in Higher Education) 2026 conference. As a first-time attendee, I set three strategic goals: to refine my cross cultural and public speaking skills, to understand the unique challenges diverse student identities face, and to strengthen networks with Coastline ASG officers and other institutional leaders. I accomplished these goals and returned with a deeper commitment to advocacy. This experience has made me a more effective student leader and advocate for our campus community.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to dedicate my free time to brainstorming new event concepts for Coastline, focusing on how to bridge the gap for our remote students to ensure they have an equitable campus experience. I also compete in cybersecurity competitions and spend time training by refining my technical skills alongside professional leadership and collaboration skills. When I am not doing that, I dedicate my free time to my family; staying connected to them reinforces the values of responsibility and community that drive my work and motivates me every day.
Why did you choose your desired role in ASG?
My time as Distance Learning Senator solidified my passion for our student body and conveyed how vital ASG's work is to the community. I am eager to transition into the Vice President role to expand my impact beyond our campus. By holding a permanent seat at the District Student Council, I will ensure our students' voices are heard by district leadership. Additionally, I am eager to use my experience to mentor our incoming senators, ensuring the ASG team has the support needed to turn student feedback into actionable campus change.
If elected, what do you hope to accomplish for the student body?
If elected, I plan to collaborate with fellow colleagues, students, and faculty to foster an inclusive environment where different identities are celebrated and every student feels a true sense of belonging. My priority is to build upon existing programs and initiatives to cultivate an institution dedicated to empowering students' academic and professional growth.
Is there anything else you want Coastline's student body to know about you?
I am dedicated to making students feel seen and heard. My mission is to turn student voices, complaints, and concerns into tangible progression and change for Coastline.

What is a personal achievement you’re most proud of?
One of the personal achievements I am most proud of is returning to school after having to step away from my academic career to work full-time. Making that decision was not easy, it required me to put my educational goals on hold and take on the responsibilities of the working world at a time when many of my peers were focused solely on their studies.
However, that experience taught me invaluable lessons about discipline, time management, and perseverance. Working full-time gave me a deeper appreciation for the value of education and reinforced my understanding of the real-world challenges that many students face while trying to pursue their academic goals.
Returning back to school and getting back on track academically is something I do not take for granted. It took courage, planning, and a strong personal commitment to my future. I am proud of myself for not giving up on my education and for choosing to invest in myself despite the obstacles. That same determination and resilience is exactly what I intend to bring to the Garden Grove Campus Senator role because I know firsthand that the path to academic success is not always straightforward, and I want to be a resource and advocate for students who may be navigating similar challenges.

Why did you choose your desired role in ASG?
I chose to apply for the Garden Grove Campus Senator position because it represents the perfect intersection of my personal experiences, my passion for student success, and my desire to grow as a leader.
As a student at this campus, I have witnessed firsthand how much the environment and culture of a college can shape a student's academic journey. Those experiences, both the challenges and the highlights, inspired me to stop being a bystander and start being a contributor. I want to be the voice for students who may not always feel heard, and the Senator role gives me the platform to do exactly that.
I am also drawn to this position because of the leadership opportunity it presents. I believe that true leadership is rooted in service, and serving as a Senator would allow me to develop skills in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving, all while making a direct and positive impact on the Garden Grove campus community.
Ultimately, I chose this role because I care deeply about the students here. I want to be part of a team that is actively working to make campus life better, and I am committed to showing up every day with purpose, dedication, and a genuine desire to help my fellow Coastline students succeed.
If elected, what do you hope to accomplish for the student body?
First, I want to strengthen access to campus resources and support services. Many students are unaware of the tools and programs already available to them, and others may find existing resources difficult to access. I would work to bridge that gap by advocating for clearer communication around available services and pushing for expanded support where students need it most, whether that is academic tutoring, mental health resources, or financial aid guidance.
Second, I hope to foster a stronger sense of community at the Garden Grove campus through more engaging and inclusive student events. A connected student body is a thriving student body, and I believe that creating more opportunities for students to come together, both socially and academically, will directly contribute to a more positive and motivated campus culture.
Third, and perhaps most importantly, I want to improve the lines of communication between students and administration. Students should feel confident that their concerns are being heard and acted upon. As Senator, I would make it a priority to actively collect student feedback, bring those perspectives to ASG, and ensure that the decisions being made at the administrative level truly reflect the needs and voices of the Garden Grove student community.
Overall, my goal is not just to hold a title, it is to be a present, accessible, and effective representative who delivers real results for my fellow students.
Is there anything else you want Coastline's student body to know about you?

One of my proudest achievements is serving as Student Body President at Coastline College, where I led with a commitment to advocacy, equity, and student representation at the campus, district, and state level. During my term, I also authored and successfully passed two statewide resolutions through the Student Senate for California Community Colleges, advancing equitable student leadership stipends and protections for first-generation dependent students. Outside of that, I like to spend time with family and friends, explore new places, and focus on personal growth, especially through experiences that align with my future in healthcare.
Why did you choose your desired role in ASG?
I chose to run for Legislative Affairs Senator because I am passionate about bridging the gap between students and policy. I have seen firsthand how decisions made at the local and state level directly impact students, and I want to ensure our voices are represented in those spaces. This role allows me to advocate for equitable policies, stay engaged with legislative updates, and bring that information back to our student body in a meaningful way.
If elected, what do you hope to accomplish for the student body?
If elected, I hope to strengthen student advocacy by ensuring our voices are actively represented in legislative and district-level conversations. I want to expand access to resources, increase awareness of policies that impact students, and advocate for more equitable opportunities, especially for historically underrepresented communities. Additionally, I aim to improve communication between ASG and the student body so that every student feels informed, heard, and supported. Building on my work at the state level, I also hope to advocate for the implementation of student leadership stipends within our district, ensuring that student leaders are equitably supported and recognized for the time and responsibility they dedicate to serving our campus communities.
Is there anything else you want Coastline's student body to know about you?
I want students to know that I lead with intention, accountability, and a commitment to equity. My goal is not just to hold a position, but to use it to create meaningful and lasting change. I believe student government should reflect and uplift all students, including those whose voices are often overlooked. I am dedicated to advocating for our community both on campus and beyond, and I will always prioritize what is in the best interest of our students.

If elected, what do you hope to accomplish for the student body?
If elected, I will focus on making equity a consistent part of decision making, not an afterthought. I plan to strengthen communication between students and governance committees, advocate for policies that address real barriers, and ensure that underrepresented voices are actively included.
