9/3 - Coastline Student Tutoring Options Explained: Math & Writing Center; NetTutor
Join us for an informative workshop highlighting the wide range of tutoring and academic support services available to Coastline College students. Learn how to access personalized support through the Math Center and Writing Center, which offer both onsite and online, face-to-face sessions with Coastline instructors. You’ll also discover how to use NetTutor (accessible via the SSRC Canvas page), which is an online tutoring platform that provides chat, audio, and video support across a variety of subjects.

In addition, explore the essential academic services provided by the Student Success & Resource Centers (SSRC) at Newport Beach and Westminster/Le-Jao. These centers offer a supportive environment designed to help students stay focused and succeed, with access to quiet study spaces, Wi-Fi and computer workstations, free daily printing, and workshops such as time management, study strategies, and test preparation.

Many students become apprehensive about test-taking. In this session, learn ways to cope with test-taking anxiety and optimize your preparation for exams and quizzes in your Coastline courses.

10/15 - Exploring College-Level Math & English Skills with College Readiness
Get a head start on your academic journey! This workshop introduces the College Readiness Program—a free, self-paced online resource designed to help you strengthen your math and English skills and prepare for transfer-level courses at Coastline.
You'll learn how the program uses a personalized diagnostic to create a custom study path, allowing you to focus only on what you need to improve—at your own pace, anytime, from anywhere. Whether you're about to take a class or looking for extra practice, this program can set you up for success.

Join the Student Success & Resource Center (SSRC) for this in-person, onsite event at the Westminster/Le-Jao Campus SSRC, Room 201. This workshop provides an excellent opportunity to grasp essential keyboarding fundamentals. Whether you're new to computers or seeking to improve your typing proficiency, this workshop is designed for you.
