2024-25 School Year

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. First declared in 1989, October has since been a time to state our zero tolerance for domestic violence, to acknowledge the survivors, and speak up for its victims.

During April each year, Coastline observes Sexual Assault Awareness Month. We aim to educate and prevent sexual misconduct on our campuses as we stand in solidarity with survivors. Coastline invites students, faculty, and staff to participate in at least two (2) events to support the movement for change.

The History of Denim Day

Denim Day is a response to erroneous and destructive attitudes about sexual harassment, abuse, assault and rape. We ask community members, elected officials, businesses and students to make a social statement with their fashion statement and wear jeans with a purpose. Learn more about the history of this long standing education campaign.
