The Digital Media Audio Video Program provides the skills necessary to create audio sound solutions in conjunction with images that appear to move and visual effects for various forms of media, social media streaming and voice-overs, animation and entertainment. Emphasis is placed on the development of a portfolio for further study, employment and/or advancement.

Digital Media Audio Video - Certificate of Specialization (9 units)
This program presents a concentrated course of study in the field of digital media and design. Concept development and the generation of a portfolio suitable for entry-level job applications is a focus in each of the core courses.
Courses emphasize the process and problem-solving in visual design and communication. Digital Graphic Applications courses provide broad-based entry-level training for a variety of industries. Students are introduced to a broad range of media including animation, illustration, digital photography, drone photography, audio-video, and sound recording, as well as strategies and the techniques required to incorporate these areas into print, websites, video, and social media solutions.

Digital Media Design - Associate of Arts (60 units)
Completion of the Digital Media Design Certificate will prepare students for entry-level positions in print, graphic design, digital media, animation/gaming graphics, web design, and/or other related occupations. Students will establish a strong foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of the digital media industry. The program will emphasize creativity, design skills, digital portfolios, project management, problem solving, global teamwork, and entrepreneurship options.

The Digital Media Production program provides the skills necessary to effectively use design principles to create vector and raster-based digital drawings, photo editing, illustration and layout design for multiple page documents. Emphasis is placed on the development of a portfolio for employment and/or advancement. The program will prepare students for further study and/or entry-level positions in print, graphic design, digital media, animation, gaming graphics, motion graphics, web design graphics, and other related occupations.

The Digital Media Web program provides the skills necessary to effectively utilize design principles to design, build, or maintain Web sites, using content creation tools, management tools, and digital media. Develop new visual design concepts and modify design concepts based on stakeholder feedback. The program will prepare students for further study and/or entry-level positions in web design, digital interface design, and other related occupations creating graphics used in websites and managing website content and links.

The Drone Imaging program provides skills in digital imaging, video editing, colorization, and photo editing. Students will participate in hands-on and virtual flight activities to develop, practice, and optimize UAV (Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle) flight and photography skills with high-end photo equipment, drones, and drone simulators. This program provides media management, image editing for drone operators and focuses on developing careers in digital media, capturing and editing images for a variety of industries across multiple sectors.
