Find out if your high school non-AP or Adult Education class qualifies for free college credit!
Did you take Career Technical Education (CTE) or Regional Occupation Program (ROP) courses when you were in high school? Are you an Adult Education student who took a CTE course? You may qualify to receive free college credit.
If Coastline College has an articulation agreement for a CTE or ROP course that you completed with a grade of "B" or better, you can apply to receive college credit. If approved, these articulated courses can be added to your Coastline College transcript for the specific CTE or ROP courses you completed. This will help you advance along your education pathway and accelerate your progress towards earning a certificate or degree.
To find out if the course you completed qualifies for college credit, find your high school information or refer to our complete list of Articulation Agreements.
*Please note that articulation for an approved course will be honored up to five (5) years from the date of completion of the CTE, ROP, or Adult Education course.
Once your Petition has been reviewed and approved by Coastline's CTE Department, it will be submitted for processing and the units will be posted to your Coastline transcript.
For questions or assistance, please contact Coastline's CTE office at (714) 714-7234 or cte@coastline.edu.
Students who complete Career Technical Education (CTE), Regional Occupational Program (ROP), or Adult Education classes may be able to receive college credit for their courses.
Articulated courses from the high school are counted as credit by examination.
