To be eligible for this scholarship, students must have both:
Low-income status is defined as having zero Expected Family Contribution and/or Pell-eligible.
Academic potential, to allow for equitable consideration of all students, is defined as having a GPA of 2.6 or higher from your previous institution.
To remain in the program, students will be required to maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA and a cumulative completion of a minimum of 67% of courses attended. This academic standing aligns with the Federal policy for satisfactory academic progress. Other requirements to participate in the S4 Project is that students should be a California resident; completed a federal financial aid application (FAFSA) with an expected family contribution of 0 or Pell Grant eligible; enrolled in a transfer STEM program of study at Coastline College which includes Associate Degrees for Transfer (AS-Ts) in Biology, Geology, Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics, with a minimum course load of 6 credits.
