Student parking permits cost $40 per semester and $20 for the summer session. A current Coastline College Parking Permit is required to park a vehicle on campus parking lots. When purchasing a Student Semester Parking Permit or using the daily permit dispensers the buyer will be required to enter their vehicle's license plate number when prompted. The permit is registered to that vehicle and there is no paper or sticker to display on the vehicle.
More info:
Daily parking permits cost $5 per day.
Daily parking permits can be obtained from the permit dispensers located near the campus entrance or from your cell phone utilizing the Passport Mobile App. The permit is registered to the license plate number provided by the purchaser of the permit. No paper or sticker will be provided for display.
Parking citations are issued in cooperation with the West Orange County Municipal Court. Failure to pay parking fines may impact future vehicle registration privileges with the California DMV. An academic hold will also be placed on the student's CCCD account until the citation has been paid. Payments can be made at Coastline Parking Portal.
Payment of fine must be made within 21 days from issue date or 14 days from the Notice of Delinquent.
Faculty, staff, and students attending classes at the Westminster - Le-Jao Campus will need to print out a physical copy of your Coastline College parking permit receipt. Place the receipt on your vehicle's dashboard and follow these parking instructions:
Please be aware that students who park outside the designated parking areas without paying the City required parking fees, or students who park inside the designated parking areas without displaying a valid Coastline College Student Parking Permit, may be cited for parking violations by the Westminster Police Department. The Westminster Police Department is responsible for all parking enforcement at the Westminster Campus parking lots. Parking citation inquiries are to be referred to the Westminster Police Department Traffic Unit.
Parking is available at the Newport Beach Campus in front of the building along Monrovia Ave.
Parking is available behind the Garden Grove Campus building along Acacia Parkway.
Parking at the Student Services Center in Fountain Valley is available for both students and staff in front of the new building, at the corner of Warner Ave and Newhope St.
Vehicles without a valid parking permit will be cited.
The purchase of a parking permit does not guarantee a parking space on campus. General public and community members may also purchase semester permits online.
Designated parking areas are color coded: Vehicles authorized to park on the Coastline College property shall park only in areas that have been painted with stripes indicating parking stalls. The Coast Community College District assumes no liability for damage to or theft of any vehicle, bicycle, or articles of personal property while on campus. Users of campus parking lots do so at their own risk.
