Currently looking for: Motion Graphics Interns
Coastline College is seeking Motion Graphics Interns to help create fun and unique ways to engage students through the College's social media presence - including YouTube. Interns will work with the Marketing & Communications Office to promote, inform and engage followers about the College through college communications channels.
As an intern, you'll...
- Assist in producing various animation, visual effects, and motion design projects for video productions as needed.
- Work closely with other Design & Video team members to develop and hone communication and interpersonal skills, to better prepare them for a full-time position in the motion design community after graduation.
- Assist in the development and execution of a wide variety of deliverables including, but not limited to broadcast design vehicles including title opens logo idents, transitions, in-game features, bumps, teases, LED fascia animations, miscellaneous content intended for social media and other digital platforms.
- Must be familiar with animating multi-layered motion graphics with the motivation to grow one's skillset in contemporary motion design.
- Must be willing to learn and be able to respond in a positive fashion to constructive criticism/critique, while working in a team-based
- Must be able to follow brand guidelines and think outside the box when asked to participate in brainstorming.
- Must show competence in and desire to adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced work environment and respond quickly and calmly to client/supervisor requests.
- Perform other related duties as deemed necessary or requested.
Our team of motion and graphic designers and our video producer will contribute to mentoring our interns.
This position will ultimately report to the Marketing Director and Video Producer.
Minimum Qualifications
- Solid reel of work exhibiting great competency in modern motion and graphic design principles, versatility, and creativity.
- Competency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere is considered a plus.
- Average competency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) Key Responsibilities.
