Explore helpful resources and information available to undocumented students.
Coastline College strives to provide equitable access to education for all of our students. In accordance with California law, AB 540 and the California Dream Act, undocumented students have access to resident tuition fees and financial aid.
To provide equitable services that meet the needs and interests of our undocumented/mixed status students. We aim to maximize the personal and academic opportunities of our students in partnership with the college and community organizations. Our goal is to increase the engagement and retention of our Dream students by providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.
To establish partnerships with college and community resources and provide students with personalized care and attention that supports their success.
What is the difference between AB 540, the California Dream Act, & DACA?
DACA, AB 540 and the California Dream Act are not the same. In the state of California, the unwinding of DACA does NOT impact a student's ability to attend college, qualify for exemption from non-resident tuition fees, or apply for financial aid.
