Fairview Developmental Center (FDC) is located 2501 Harbor Blvd. in Costa Mesa, CA. Over 500 individuals reside at this developmental center, formerly called Fairview State Hospital. It is a multi-service residential agency licensed by the Department of Health Services to provide acute, skilled, and intermediate care.
FDC serves people with developmental disabilities who need 24 hour health care, supervision, a structured environment, and a habilitation program not currently available in their home community. The majority of residents have severe to profound developmental delays. Some have challenging behaviors while others may be medically fragile.
Coastline provides students computer access through a large, well equipped computer lab. There is also a dedicated fitness lab and academic classroom. Coastline offers a variety of classes throughout the large and park like campus. Community students are welcome to take classes at Fairview, however, it is highly recommended that new students consult with Lori Genova prior to enrollment. She may be reached at (714) 241-6214.
