Drop Dates
View our Non-Payment Drop Schedule web page or refer to your "Student Class Program (Web Schedule Bill)" at MyCoast for exact deadlines.
Deadline to select Pass/No Pass Grading Option
Please Note:
- A "P" for Pass (Satisfactory Completion) or "NP" for No Pass (Unsatisfactory Completion) grade symbol will be given at the end of the semester. No grade points are assigned in either case, therefore, the grades are not used to compute the grade point average.
- A "P" grade may be counted towards degrees or certificates but will not count towards Honors.
- A maximum of 15 units of "P (Pass)" option coursework earned at an accredited college or university can be counted toward the degree requirements for the Associate in Arts (AA) Degree.
- Grades of "NP" are counted towards progress probation and/or dismissal.
- Some institutions will not accept a P/NP grade for courses required in a major or towards general education requirements Note: It is strongly advised that you speak with a counselor before choosing to utilize the P/NP option.
- Once the deadline has passed, the grade option cannot be reversed
Students wishing to select the P/NP grading option must select Pass/No Pass using MyCoast or submit the Pass/No Pass form to the Admissions and Records Office by the deadline date.
The deadline to select Pass/No Pass for all classes is the last date of instruction for that class. Refer to the class shedule or your web schedule bill for specific dates.

When classes are canceled due to low enrollment, every attempt will be made to help students adjust their academic schedules.
Attention - Coastline Military & Corporate Programs Students
Non-Payment Drop Policy does not apply to students registering for the Military/Contract Ed CCC Terms.
