Library Workshops START the first day of the semester and END the Thursday before the last week at 11:55 p.m.
Workshops can take up to five business days to score and the date a student completes the library workshop will be on their certificate of completion.
Avoiding Plagiarism Workshop
The Avoiding Plagiarism one-hour workshop will help students learn about different types of plagiarism and ways to avoid plagiarism in assignments. The Library created this workshop because they don't think students plagiarize on purpose and want to empower students during the research and writing process.
What students are saying:
"This workshop is so educational. I'm really glad it's part of this online class module. Very informative and I definitely have a clearer concept of what plagiarism is. Thank you!"
Library Orientation Workshop
The Coastline ONLINE Library is a great resource for students! Learn all about it in this one-hour Library Orientation workshop.
"My favorite thing I learned about the library is that it is purely online, accessible anytime and there is help whenever I need it. I like the fact that I can get help with my research paper questions. I learned that the people that work here are committed to helping students and instructors when we need help."
