Health Services
Requirements
In order to receive health care services, each student must:
- Pay the health fee at the time of registration.
- Provide student identification card to the Health Center.
- Present a signed permission statement from a parent or legal guardian, if under the age of 18.
- Be currently enrolled at Coastline. Health services are available from the first day of the term in which the student is enrolled until the day prior to the start of the following term. (Summer is a separate term from Fall and Spring terms.)
- Minor students may need their legal guardian to complete a Consent Form to access medical treatment.
Students who drop all of their classes are no longer eligible for health care services.

Naloxone Distribution Program (NDP)
Coastline College is participating in the Naloxone Distribution Project (NDP). The NDP is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and administered by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to combat opioid overdose-related deaths throughout California. The NDP aims to address the opioid crisis by reducing opioid overdose deaths through the provision of free nasal naloxone, or NARCAN®. NARCAN® is a life-saving medication used for the treatment of an opioid emergency such as an overdose or a possible opioid overdose. NARCAN® Nasal Spray is to be given right away and does not take the place of emergency medical care.
Orange Coast College Health Center and Golden West College Health Center are our health care providers for Coastline students and are eligible to receive free NARCAN® through their Medical Director's order.
Coastline College Campus Safety first responders have NARCAN® available for opioid overdose emergencies.
Novel Coronovirus (COVID-19) Information
The Coast Community College District (CCCD) has concluded its vaccination verification and testing program. Vaccination and booster shots are strongly encouraged for all those eligible. Indoor masking on campus and all District facilities is strongly recommended. Masking is still required in the Student Health Centers.
