Admissions Requirements and Registration Procedures
Spring 2009
For your convenience, new and returning students may apply online on the Coastline Community College Web site CCC Apply. For your convenience, computers are available in the Admissions and Records Office, Garden Grove Center, Costa Mesa Center, and Le Jao Center.
International Students
All International students must contact the International Center to apply for admission to the college. You can request an application by contacting Linda Maynard at (714) 241-6184 extension 17416.
Military Students: Please go to http://military.coastline.edu/navyregistration/CCCApply_Military.htm
New Students: are those who have never attended Coastline Community College.
Returning Students: are those who have previously attended Coastline Community College but have missed the last primary semester (fall or spring). You are considered a returning student regardless of whether you skipped one semester or several years.
Registration at Coastline Community College is conducted on an appointment basis. Appointments are based on the date your application was submitted on a first-come, first-served basis (new and returning students).
Students will receive their appointments as follows:
- Complete the online application at CCC Apply and submit 10 working days prior to the start date of the class. Or
- Complete and mail in the application form provided (
click here to download application) in the schedule before January 16. Or - Complete and submit your application in person by Wednesday of the week prior to the start date of the class to the Admission's office. You will then receive an appointment date and time to register through the MyCCC portal page.
Things you need to know about applying for admission:
- Once you submit your application online, you'll receive an e-mail confirmation.
- If you need help paying for college, apply for financial aid at the time of application.

CONTINUING STUDENTS:
Students enrolled during the Fall 2008 semester can check their registration appointments for the Spring semester beginning November 1 by logging into MyCCC.
STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES:
Students (who furnish professional verification of disability) can register November 14, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Costa Mesa Center. Call (714) 241-6214 or (714) 751-2072 (TTY) for additional information.
Location and Hour:
COASTLINE’S ADMISSIONS AND RECORDS OFFICE is located at: Coastline College Center, 11460 Warner Avenue (on the corner of Warner Avenue and Newhope Street), Fountain Valley, CA, 92708.
Regular Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.; Monday, December 15 - Thursday, December 18 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; & Friday, December 19, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. We will be closed for Winter Recess December 22, 2008 - January 3, 2009.
Spring Registration Extended Hours: Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays, January 23, 30 and February 6, 2009.
