Feb 1st - 5th, 11:30am - 1pm: Are you close to earning 45 units? Stop by and prepare for transfer! We'll discuss transfer events and workshops for Spring 2021.
Feb 1st, 12 - 1pm: Learn job search strategies with Coastline's Career Center to increase your likelihood of landing employment.
Feb 1st, 2 - 3:30pm: Learn about Coastline's Associated Student Government (ASG), meet the officers, and hear about how you can get involved!
Feb 1st, 4 - 5pm: Join Professor Tobi West, Coastline's CIS/CST/CYBR/DGA Department Chair, to learn how you can better protect your personal information online.
Feb 2nd, 2 - 4pm: Join Coastline's Alyssa Martinez for student and staff questions and a brief presentation about the Adult Education program.
Feb 2nd, 4 - 5pm: To give you another avenue to connect with EOPS team, we invite you to join for virtual student hours hosted every Tuesday throughout the spring semester. These are times to stop by and ask questions or just say hello to familiar faces! We'd love to see you.
Feb 3rd, 1 - 2pm: Join Natalie Schonfeld to get any questions answered about resources available to support your success and learn more about the Dean of Students Office.
Feb 3rd, 3-4pm: Join Tom Boscamp for an online orientation session. This is a great way to get familiar with campus life, as well as to understand the benefits and support that you will receive here from day one.
Feb 4th, 10am - 12pm: Need help applying for Financial Aid? Join Evelyn Hernandez and Chinh Pham to receive one-on-one assistance.
Feb 4th, 12-1pm: Join Coastline's Alyssa Martinez for student and staff questions and a brief presentation about the Adult Education program.
Feb 4th, 4 - 4:30pm: Start your semester off on the right foot! Drop by to learn tips and tricks for success in an online class. We will discuss the most common barriers reported by students, and give you practical strategies to combat them!
Feb 4th, 4:30 - 5:30pm: Do you know who was the first black woman ever named to cabinet by the US president? (The answer is Patricia R. Harris, who served as secretary of Housing and Urban Development under former President Jimmy Carter.) Come learn about Black History and test your knowledge with other Coastline staff as we kick off Black History Month! Winners will receive an Amazon Gift Card.
Feb 5th, 4 - 6pm: If you would like to meet fellow students, play games, and find ways to get involved, come to the Intercultural Resource Center (IRC) welcome event. Meet our student leaders as well as our peer mentor who can help guide you to your goals.
Fri. February 5th, 6:30-7:30pm: Come join our action-packed workshop on Coastline's Esports Club showcasing upcoming events, giveaway, and special guests. The club focuses on building a supportive community for everyone in the esports ecosystem.
