Please join us for an outdoor ceremony celebrating Coastline's 2023 graduates on Friday, June 2nd at the Student Services Center in Fountain Valley. This Graduation event will also be live-streamed on Coastline's YouTube Channel, for those unable to attend in-person.

The ceremony will start at 6pm and lasts roughly 1 hour.
Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time. Seating begins at 5pm.
Guests should plan on reuniting with their graduates and special guests after the recessional, where all are invited to a reception to celebrate.

Professor Bridges began teaching at Coastline College as an English instructor in 2017 and earned tenure in 2021. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from California State University, Fullerton where she focused her scholarly interests on the long-term effects of early remediation and success in post-secondary education. Professor Bridges’ service to the college and teaching philosophy remains centered on student success by providing professional learning opportunities for Coastline English faculty members through the Community of Practice, and invest- ing her time into student-centered college projects such as CBE, noncredit coursework, the Umoja Community, the e-Sports program and club, Coastline Writing Center, and working across disciplines on AB-705 and AB-1705 course development.
Fernando Gabela is an IT leader and professional. He earned his associate’s degree at Riverside City College, his Bachelor of Arts at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and his MBA at Chapman University. As a member of the Coastline Community, he has been teaching online cours- es in the business department for over 12 years. Throughout his IT career, he has worked in many industries such as Manufacturing, Healthcare, Wholesale Food Distribution, and Financial Services. As an Instructor at Coastline, he has taught many subjects during his tenure including: Introduction to Project Management, E-Commerce: Strategy/Management, Introduction to Business, E-Commerce/ Online Business, Supply Chain Management Fundamentals, and Warehousing Operations. He has worked closely with the Business Department Chair developing Master Courses for the Introduction of Project Management Class, Supply Chain Management Fundaments, and Warehouse Operations.
The Student Services Center in Fountain Valley provides a multitude of student services: Counseling, Financial Aid, Veterans Resource Center, Food Pantry, Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS), Military and contract education, Distance Learning, College Bookstore, Student Life and Public Safety, in addition to Admissions & Records.
