Providing assistance to students affected by COVID-19

Coastline College is pleased to offer the Student Emergency Relief Fund to students experiencing economic hardships caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Student Emergency Relief Fund will provide impacted students up to $500 in hardship grant assistance with unplanned financial expenses (such as housing, technology, medical, and more) to support students' educational persistence and/or degree completion at Coastline through the pandemic crisis.
The Student Emergency Relief Fund is a philanthropic and community response to address emergency needs of Coastline students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Coastline College is grateful for the generosity and support of the Foundation Board of Directors, Coastline's Associated Student Government (ASG), faculty, staff, and the community for their outpouring of support of Coastline students during these unprecedented times.
The grant is available to current Coastline students who meet the following minimum qualifications:

The Coastline Student Emergency Relief Fund is available to current Coastline students who meet the minimum qualifications. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Funds are limited and offered on a first-come, first served basis.
Students may apply for the grant by completing the Student Emergency Relief Fund Application form.
If selected, recipients will be notified by email and funds will be distributed directly to the student via check. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Funds are limited and offered on a first-come, first served basis. Recipients of the Student Emergency Relief Fund are not required to repay grant funds, but must write a brief 'thank you' note to the Coastline Foundation to share how the Student Emergency Relief grant impacted them.
Disbursement will take place December 1-18, 2020. Checks may be mailed or picked up at Coastline College Fountain Valley Campus, by appointment only.
