Coastline Community College recently selected Christine Nguyen to lead the college’s Administrative Services department. As Vice President of Administrative Services, Nguyen will oversee Fiscal Services, Human Resources, Maintenance and Operations, Facilities, Security Services, Computer Services, Instructional Systems Development, and the college bookstore. She will also direct the college’s oversight of the Orange County One-Stop Center, which Coastline operates in partnership with the Workforce Investment Board. She assumed the permanent position on July 1, 2012 after serving in the position on an interim basis for the past 24 months.
Christine Nguyen brings more than twenty years of experience to the role. In addition, she will lead the completion of the college’s $50 million Newport Beach construction project—a new campus scheduled to open for classes in spring 2013.
In addition to her Vice President duties, Nguyen will continue to serve on the Coastline Community College Foundation Board of Directors as a member and as Co-Chair of the Foundation Investment Committee.
