Accreditation
What is accreditation?
Accreditation is a process in which certification of competency, authority, or credibility is presented. Coastline is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.
Why is that important?
Colleges that are certified as "accredited" by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges adhere to strict guidelines and reporting standards tied to student success and achievement.
To read about the standards Coastline must continually meet to be labeled as "accredited," please visit the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges web site at: http://www.accjc.org/.
