Academic Senate President's Message
To All Coastline Community College Faculty
The spring 2008 semester is nearly half over already! Spring is peeping out and wintery weather will soon be an afterthought. The school year is nearing its end and many ongoing projects are culminating:
- Coastline Master Plan
- Accreditation One Year Report
- Hiring of four additional full-time instructors
- College Center Third Floor Remodel
- Center for Educational Innovation
- Banner/Luminis/Seaport Launch
- Basic Skills Initiative
Each of these projects has required commitment, flexibility, patience, and cooperation among the entire Coastline College faculty, staff, and administration.
We are on the brink of our glorious future. Our enrollments are growing. New energy and creativity is infusing everything we do here at Coastline and exciting new programs are under development.
Coming to work is a pleausre when you know that you work with great people who are dedicated to the education and success of students.
